Niveo Professional NRS24T4XP is a fully managed PoE+ L2+ switch in a 19" 1U rack. It has 24 10/100/1000Base-T ports with PoE+ power compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at and 4 open SFP+ 1/10G slots. Each PoE+ port delivers up to 30W, and the total power budget of the device is 400W. This switch powers network devices directly through existing LAN cables, converting 100-240V AC to low voltage DC. The switch is suitable for medium and large networks, including AV installations where stability and performance of connections are crucial.
The switch supports multicast with IGMP Querier, IGMP Snooping, and Fast Leave function, making it compatible with popular Video over IP platforms. Support for IEEE 1588v2 PTP (Precision Time Protocol) allows it to be used in audio networks based on protocols such as AES67. The L2+ management package includes up to 4K VLAN 802.1Q networks, Protocol VLAN, Private VLAN, MVR, QoS with 8 queues per port, RSTP and MSTP protocols, LACP, LLDP, sFlow, port mirroring, cable diagnostics, and advanced network security features. Out-of-band management is provided via a CLI console port, while in-band management is available through SNMP and a Web GUI interface. The PD Alive Check function periodically checks powered devices, such as IP cameras, by their IP addresses. If a device does not respond, the switch can automatically restart the port's power, resolving most issues.
