The Niveo Professional NRS24T4XP is a fully managed L2+ network switch with 10/100/1000Base-T ports with PoE+ power and 4 SFP+ 1/10G slots, designed for installation in a 19" rack (1U). The 10G SFP+ slots enable the construction of high-speed backbone connections and interconnecting switches in extensive networks, while the switching capacity of 128Gbps ensures efficient traffic handling in medium and large AV installations, network audio systems, monitoring, and Video-over-IP. The 24 PoE+ ports compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at deliver up to 30W per port with a total PoE budget of 400W, powering devices directly through the LAN cable. Support for the IEEE 1588v2 (PTP) protocol provides precise time synchronization required by advanced audio protocols such as AES67. The PD Alive Check function cyclically checks the operation of powered devices, and in case of no response, automatically restarts the port power, resolving most issues without service intervention. PoE management also includes power control, priorities, and power levels for each port, PoE scheduling, and overload protection. L2+ features include up to 4K VLAN 802.1Q networks, Voice VLAN, 8 QoS queues per port, STP/RSTP/MSTP, LACP link aggregation, ERPS (G.8032), Jumbo frames up to 9KB, and full multicast support with IGMP Snooping v1/v2/v3, querier, and fast group leave. The switch can be managed via a web interface, CLI (console port), Telnet, SSH, and SNMP, while security mechanisms - 802.1X, L2/L3/L4 ACLs, RADIUS, and TACACS+ - protect the network from unauthorized access.
