The Niveo Professional NRS24T4P is a fully managed L2+ network switch with 24 10/100/1000Base-T ports with PoE+ power and 4 1G SFP slots, designed for installation in a 19" rack (1U). This switch is intended for medium to large networks, including extensive AV installations, network audio systems, monitoring, and Video-over-IP. All 24 RJ45 ports compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at deliver up to 30W per port with a total PoE budget of 400W, powering network devices directly through the LAN cable. Support for the IEEE 1588v2 (PTP) protocol enables precise time synchronization required by advanced audio protocols such as AES67. PoE management includes power on/off, priorities, and power levels for each port, PoE scheduling, overload protection, and a PD Alive Check function that cyclically checks the operation of powered devices. The switching capacity is 128Gbps, with a packet buffer of 4Mb and an 8K MAC address table ensuring efficient operation. A rich set of L2+ features includes up to 4K 802.1Q VLANs, Voice VLAN, 8 QoS queues per port, STP/RSTP/MSTP protocols, LACP link aggregation, ERPS (G.8032), Jumbo frames up to 9KB, and full multicast support with IGMP Snooping v1/v2/v3, querier, and fast leave of groups. The switch can be managed via a web interface, CLI (console port), Telnet, SSH, and SNMP, while security mechanisms - 802.1X, L2/L3/L4 ACLs, RADIUS, and TACACS+ - protect the network from unauthorized access.
