The Niveo Professional NRS24T4P-AV is a fully managed L2+ network switch in AV version, where all connections - 24 10/100/1000Base-T ports with PoE+ power, 4 1G SFP slots, and a console port - are located on the rear panel. This arrangement of ports facilitates organized cabling in 19" (1U) racks used in AV installations. The switch is designed for medium and large networks, network audio systems, monitoring, and Video-over-IP. All 24 RJ45 ports compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at deliver up to 30W per port with a total PoE budget of 400W, powering devices directly through the LAN cable. Support for the IEEE 1588v2 (PTP) protocol ensures precise time synchronization required by advanced audio protocols such as AES67. PoE management includes power control, priorities, and power levels for each port, PoE scheduling, overload protection, and the PD Alive Check function, which cyclically checks the operation of powered devices. Switching capacity of 128Gbps, 4Mb packet buffer, and 8K MAC address table guarantee efficient operation. L2+ features include up to 4K VLAN 802.1Q networks, Voice VLAN, 8 QoS queues per port, STP/RSTP/MSTP, LACP link aggregation, ERPS (G.8032), Jumbo frames up to 9KB, and full multicast support with IGMP Snooping v1/v2/v3, querier, and fast group leave. Management is done via a web interface, CLI, Telnet, SSH, and SNMP, while security mechanisms - 802.1X, L2/L3/L4 ACLs, RADIUS, and TACACS+ - protect the network from unauthorized access.
