Niveo Professional NRS24T4P-AV is a fully managed PoE+ Layer 2+ switch designed for AV installations. All connectors - 24 ports 10/100/1000Base-T with PoE+, 4 open SFP slots 100M/1G, and a console port - are located at the back of the 19" 1U rack chassis. This layout facilitates cable management in rack cabinets alongside other AV devices. The PoE+ ports comply with IEEE 802.3af/at and deliver up to 30W per port, with a total power budget of 400W for the entire device. This allows the switch to power network devices directly through the existing LAN cable, converting 100-240V AC to low voltage DC.
The switch supports multicast with IGMP Querier, IGMP Snooping, and Fast Leave functionality, making it compatible with popular Video over IP platforms. Support for IEEE 1588v2 PTP (Precision Time Protocol) allows it to be used in audio networks based on protocols such as AES67. The L2+ management package includes up to 4K VLAN 802.1Q networks, Protocol VLAN, Private VLAN, MVR, QoS with 8 queues per port, RSTP and MSTP protocols, LACP, LLDP, sFlow, port mirroring, cable diagnostics, and advanced network security. Out-of-band management is provided via the CLI console port, while in-band management is available through SNMP and the Web GUI. The PD Alive Check function periodically checks powered devices via PoE, such as IP cameras, by their IP addresses.
