Description
Niveo Professional NRS16T2P - managed PoE+ L2+ switch with 16 Gigabit Ethernet ports and 2 SFP ports, 19" rack 1U
The Niveo Professional NRS16T2P is a fully managed L2+ network switch with 16 10/100/1000Base-T ports with PoE+ power and 2 1G SFP slots, designed for installation in a 19" rack (1U). The device is suitable for medium and large networks, including AV installations, monitoring, and Video-over-IP systems. All 16 RJ45 ports compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at deliver up to 30W per port with a total PoE budget of 280W, powering IP cameras, access points, audio interfaces, and other network devices directly via LAN cable. PoE management features include power on/off, priorities, and power levels for each port, PoE scheduling, overload protection, and a PD Alive Check function that cyclically checks the operation of powered devices. The switching capacity is 128Gbps, with a 4Mb packet buffer and an 8K MAC address table ensuring efficient network operation. The extensive L2+ feature set includes up to 4K 802.1Q VLANs, Voice VLAN, 8 QoS queues per port, STP/RSTP/MSTP protocols, LACP link aggregation, ERPS (G.8032), Jumbo frames up to 9KB, and full multicast support with IGMP Snooping v1/v2/v3, querier, and fast leave of groups. The switch also supports the IEEE 1588v2 (PTP) precision time synchronization protocol. Management is done via a web interface, CLI (console port), Telnet, SSH, and SNMP, while advanced security mechanisms - 802.1X, L2/L3/L4 ACLs, RADIUS, and TACACS+ - protect the infrastructure from unauthorized access.
