Niveo Professional NMC1012RSM is a compact media converter for Gigabit Ethernet connections over long distances. It converts the signal from copper cable to single-mode fiber. It has one 10/100/1000Base-T RJ45 port and one 1000Base-LX fiber port with SC connector, operating at a wavelength of 1310nm. Over single-mode fiber 9/125μm, it provides a range of up to 10km. This converter is well-suited for connecting buildings, remote technical rooms, and extensive AV and monitoring installations. It complies with IEEE 802.3ab and IEEE 802.3z standards. It operates in Full-Duplex mode with a transmission speed of 2000Mb/s. The copper port supports auto-negotiation and Auto-MDI/MDI-X, so the device works immediately upon connection. LEDs indicate the link and transmission status on each port as well as power.
