Niveo Professional NGSME9AVB is a 9-port Gigabit Ethernet switch that combines AVB, Dante, and PoE+ support in one device. It is ready to work with AVB right out of the box. No configuration or firmware upload is required, as well as no fees or activation of AVB licenses. Just unpack it, connect it, and start working. The switch has an AVNU Milan Bridge certification and supports Audio Video Bridging (AVB) Gen 2, Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) standards, and IEEE 1588v2 one-step PTP. It is a good choice for network audio installations where quick deployment and reliability matter.
Ports 1-8 can be assigned to AVB or Dante networks at will. One simple command adds a port to a Dante or AVB VLAN or removes it from it. Four ports support PoE+ IEEE 802.3at with up to 30W per port and a total budget of 120W, so they can power, for example, audio devices via network cable. The SFP 2500BASE-X connector at the back of the housing allows connecting two switches with a simple extension cable and expanding the system to 16 AVB ports. The industrial design and wide operating temperature range, from -40°C to +85°C, make it the most durable AVB switch on the market according to the manufacturer. The device is designed and manufactured in Germany.
