Description
Niveo Professional NGSME8Hx-AV - managed PoE+ switch for AV installations with 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports, 2 SFP ports on the rear panel, and a PoE budget of 235W
Niveo Professional NGSME8Hx-AV is a managed PoE+ switch in AV version, combining an increased power budget with rear-facing connectors. All ports are located at the back of the chassis, so cables in the rack do not obstruct the front, making the installation look neat. The switch has 8 RJ45 ports 10/100/1000Mb/s with IEEE 802.3af/at power, delivering up to 30W per port with a range of up to 100m. Additionally, there are 2 SFP slots for 100M and Gigabit fiber modules and a console port. The built-in power supply provides a PoE budget of 235W, sufficient to simultaneously power multiple touch panels, microphones, cameras, and access points. The switch has QSC Q-SYS qualification and supports Dante, AES67, CobraNet, and HD-over-IP. Multicast features with IGMP Querier and Fast Leave ensure smooth video stream switching. Self-Healing PoE automatically restarts the power of a hung device, and power line filtering reduces the hanging of PoE devices.
