Niveo Professional NGSME24T4H is a fully managed PoE+ L2+ switch in a 19" 1U rack enclosure, with 24 10/100/1000Base-T ports and 4 open SFP+ slots for 100M/1G/2.5G/10G. The RJ45 ports support PoE+ power according to IEEE 802.3af/at with up to 30W per port, and the 520W power supply provides a high power budget for the entire system. The switch powers touch panels, access points, IP cameras, and other network devices directly through existing LAN cables, converting 100-240V AC to low voltage DC. The PoE awareness feature checks if the connected device is compliant with IEEE 802.3at, and if not, it only transmits data to it. The switch is suitable for medium and large networks, in AV installations, Video over IP systems, and monitoring.
The four SFP+ 10G slots serve as uplink ports. They allow network expansion from 1G to 10G and connection to another 10G switch, servers, or workstations, as well as grouping 10G ports into a trunk for higher bandwidth. A full set of multicast features with IGMP Querier, Snooping, and Fast Leave ensures compatibility with popular Video over IP platforms. Optional support for IEEE 1588v2 PTP enables operation with network audio, e.g., AES67. The L2+ management package includes up to 4K VLANs 802.1Q, Protocol VLAN, Private VLAN, MVR, QoS with 8 queues, RSTP and MSTP protocols, G.8032 ERPS ring protection, LACP, LLDP, sFlow, port mirroring, cable diagnostics, static routing, and Virtual Stacking. The PD Alive Check feature periodically checks the powered device by IP address. If the device does not respond, the switch restarts the port power. The frequency and number of attempts, as well as the restart time, can be set in the web panel.
