The Niveo Professional NGSME16T2H-AV is a fully managed network switch from the NGS Enterprise series in the AV version, where all connections - 16 10/100/1000Base-T ports with PoE+ power and 2 combo SFP/RJ45 Gigabit ports - are located on the rear panel. This layout facilitates cabling and provides an aesthetic, organized finish for AV racks. The switch is designed for audio-video integrations, security systems, and broadcasting, built on industrial and corporate-grade chipsets. The device has QSC Q-SYS qualification for audio and video and supports Dante, AES67, and CobraNet protocols. It is optimized for Video-over-IP systems - IGMP Snooping with a querier and Fast Leave ensures smooth channel switching. PoE ports compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at deliver up to 30W each with a total budget of 250W. PoE features protect the installation from freezing control panels, IP cameras, and microphones. Power line filtering reduces voltage fluctuations, and Self-Healing PoE (PD Alive Check) cyclically checks devices and automatically restarts port power in case of no response. The check interval, number of attempts, and device startup time can be configured. Power for each port can be assigned manually, by device class, or via LLDP-MED, with priorities Low, High, and Critical. The PoE schedule allows power to be turned off during non-working hours, and VeriPHY diagnostics checks the status of connected cables. The switching matrix is 36Gbps, performance is 26.8Mpps, buffer is 4Mb, and the MAC address table is 8K, ensuring efficient network operation. The switch has a built-in power supply with a switch and IEC 60320 socket, and the package includes mounting brackets for 19" rack installation and an RS-232 console cable. Each unit undergoes a 72-hour load test, MTTF exceeds 100,000 hours, and the manufacturer provides a 10-year limited warranty upon registration, along with lifetime access to software updates and technical support.
