Niveo Professional N10GSM is a single-mode fiber SFP+ 10G module operating at a wavelength of 1310nm, with a range of up to 10km. It complies with the Ethernet standard IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE-LW/LR and the Fiber Channel standard 10GFC 1200-SM-LL-L. It supports data rates from 9.95Gbps to 11.3Gbps, and the optical power budget is 16dB. The module is suitable for connecting 10G switches over long distances, building backbone connections between buildings or floors in AV and IT installations, and in Fiber Channel storage systems.
The module features symmetrical LVPECL inputs and symmetrical CML outputs, and does not require a reference clock for operation. It is powered by a single 3.3V supply. The TTL signal detection indicator and transmitter fault signaling (TX_FAULT) facilitate connection diagnostics.
