2024-05-14The RDL RU‑NMP44 is an advanced network audio mixing processor designed for operation in Dante and AES67 networks. The unit has been developed for modern AV installations where routing flexibility, reliability and precise audio signal control are essential.
RU-NMP44 - Network Mixing Processor - 4x4
The processor provides six independent virtual 4x1 mixers, each capable of summing four Dante input channels and routing them to network or analogue outputs. Two mixers can operate in stereo configuration, allowing straightforward handling of audio zones or music signals in sound reinforcement systems.

Level control, priority handling and automation
Each input and output can be adjusted in 1dB steps, enabling precise level matching to system requirements. The built‑in VOX ducking function allows automatic priority assignment to a selected signal (e.g. voice announcements), with adjustable trigger threshold, attenuation level and recovery time. In addition, selectable high‑pass filters are available for the priority input, improving speech intelligibility in voice communication systems.
Network integration and configuration
Device configuration is carried out using the RDL CONSOLE software or compatible RDL networked remote controllers. The RU‑NMP44 allows storage of four user presets covering routing, levels and mixer settings. Presets can be activated via the network, on power‑up, or using the RDL RC4M remote control panel.

Powering and installation
The processor can be powered either via PoE (IEEE802.3af, Class 0) or an external 24V DC power supply, with automatic switching between power sources to increase system reliability. The robust metal enclosure allows free‑standing, surface or rack‑mount installation.
