The Niveo Professional NGSME24T2H is a fully managed L2+ network switch from the NGS Enterprise series, equipped with 24 10/100/1000Base-T ports with PoE+ power and 2 SFP 100/1000Base-X slots. The switch is designed for medium and large networks, including audio-video installations, security systems, and broadcasting. Each PoE port compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at delivers up to 30W over a distance of up to 100m. The Current Sharing technology utilizes 2 internal power modules that together provide up to 500W of PoE power. In the event of a failure of one module, the other takes over and continues to deliver 250W, while the configured port priorities determine which devices are powered first. The SFP slots support modules of various types, speeds, and ranges, including older 100M modules, and allow uplink connections to servers, storage devices, and other switches. The switch is part of the QSC Q-SYS qualified series, supports audio protocols Dante, AES67, and CobraNet, and features such as IGMP Snooping with querier, Leave Proxy, and Immediate Leave ensure smooth operation of Video-over-IP systems. The Virtual Stacking feature allows management of multiple switches from a single IP address. A non-blocking switching matrix of 52Gbps, performance of 38.7Mpps, a 4Mb buffer, and an 8K MAC address table ensure efficient network operation. Advanced L2+ features include up to 4K VLANs, Q-in-Q, Private VLAN, MVR, 8 QoS queues per port, STP/RSTP/MSTP, and LACP link aggregation. Advanced security features - HTTPS, SSH, MAC address binding to ports, 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, and ACL lists - protect the network from unauthorized access. The manufacturer provides a 10-year limited warranty upon device registration.
