Muxlab 500734-SM40 - 6G-SDI Extender over Single-Mode Fiber with Return Channel (40 km)
Muxlab 500734-SM40 is a professional-grade solution for the AV industry, enabling the transmission of SDI signals up to 4K resolution over distances up to 40 km via single-mode fiber. The device supports multichannel transmission with up to 9 Gbps of data throughput, allowing simultaneous transport of various SDI signal combinations - including 6G-SDI, 3G-SDI, and HD-SDI - in any direction, including return channels.
It features one SDI input, one SDI output, and three configurable directional SDI ports (input/output), offering flexible configurations from four source ports and one return channel to one source and four return channels. The SDI return channel can be used for AV monitoring and talk-back, while RS232 pass-through supports tally light return, camera control unit (CCU), and remote device control.
