The MuxLab 500306-2PK is a set of two shielded RF baluns designed to transmit CATV, VHF, and FM signals over Cat5e/6/7 UTP or STP cable. These baluns replace traditional RG6 coaxial cable with structured cabling, simplifying installations and enabling flexible integration of broadband equipment into modular wall outlets.
Compared to the CATV Balun II (500302), the shielded version offers enhanced EMI/RFI protection, especially when used with shielded twisted pair (STP) cable. Its cast aluminum enclosure provides maximum shielding, and the compact form factor allows side-by-side mounting on most RF splitters.
