MuxLab 500223 is a full-range hanging speaker with Dante protocol support and PoE power, designed for background music playback and voice announcements in a wide range of commercial and residential applications. Power, audio signal, and control functions are transmitted via a single network cable, simplifying installation in structured cabling environments and reducing costs. The speaker features a 6.5" low-frequency driver with an injection-molded polypropylene diaphragm and a 1" swivel silk dome high-frequency driver, providing wide dispersion, broad bandwidth, and smooth frequency response in the range of 72Hz–20kHz. The built-in amplifier module has a peak power of 60W and a DSP processor with gain control, mute, limiter, 5-band parametric equalizer, HPF/LPF filters, and channel selection, allowing precise sound tuning to the room. Signal routing is done in the Dante Controller software, and the manufacturer provides a free sound calibration tool. The ABS enclosure with an IPX4 protection rating is designed and tested for operation in rain, salt fog, and high humidity, making the speaker suitable for covered outdoor spaces as well.
