The KME IB 15 W is the white version of the high-power passive installation subwoofer from the Fisco series by the German manufacturer Klingenthaler Musikelektronik (KME). The 15" speaker with direct radiation, operating in a bass-reflex enclosure, provides strong and precise reproduction of low frequencies at a high sound pressure level. The frequency response extends down to 36Hz, with an efficiency of 100dB and a maximum SPL of 129dB. The power handling is 800W (AES) and 1600W (program), with an impedance of 4Ω. Despite its high performance, the subwoofer has a compact, slim installation enclosure. It can be positioned vertically or horizontally on the floor or suspended using the integrated M8 mounting threads located at the back, top, and sides. Multiple subwoofers can be combined into a bass array with omnidirectional or directional characteristics. The IB 15 extends the frequency range for KME columns and speakers such as ILS 64, ICS 5, or IPS 10, and its white color facilitates integration into bright interiors. The subwoofer is designed for high-demand environments: sports halls and multifunctional venues, clubs, discotheques, and theaters. Neutrik Speakon NL4 and Phoenix connectors, a robust grille with acoustic foam, and an IP44 protection rating ensure durability. Optionally, the subwoofer can be ordered in a version with increased moisture resistance or in any RAL color.
