The KME IB 15 B is a black, passive installation subwoofer with high power from the Fisco series by the German manufacturer Klingenthaler Musikelektronik (KME). The single 15" speaker with direct radiation operates in a bass-reflex enclosure and provides strong, precise reproduction of low frequencies at a high sound pressure level. The frequency response extends down to 36Hz, with an efficiency of 100dB and a maximum SPL of 129dB. The power handling is 800W (AES) and 1600W (program), with an impedance of 4Ω. Despite its high efficiency, the subwoofer maintains a compact, slim installation enclosure. It can be positioned vertically or horizontally on the floor or suspended using the integrated M8 mounting threads located at the back, top, and sides. Connecting multiple subwoofers in bass arrays with omnidirectional or directional characteristics allows for precise shaping of bass distribution in the venue. The IB 15 extends the range for KME columns and speakers such as ILS 64, ICS 5, or IPS 10. It is designed for high-demand environments: sports halls and multifunctional venues, clubs, discotheques, and theaters. Neutrik Speakon NL4 and Phoenix connectors, a durable grille with acoustic foam, and an IP44 protection rating ensure reliable operation. Optionally, the subwoofer can be ordered in a version with increased moisture resistance or in any RAL color.
