The Josawa ALF-MUH88E is a professional HDMI and HDBaseT 8x8 matrix designed for advanced AV installations requiring the distribution of audio and video signals over long distances. The device allows the transmission of signals from eight HDMI sources to sixteen receiving points, utilizing eight local HDMI outputs and eight mirrored HDBaseT outputs working simultaneously.
Thanks to HDBaseT technology, the signal can be transmitted via a single category 6 or 7 cable up to 100m for 4K2K@60Hz 4:4:4 content and up to 150m for 1080p signals. The matrix supports a bandwidth of 18Gbps, HDMI 2.0b standard, and HDCP 2.2 protection, ensuring compatibility with modern UHD sources and displays.
Each HDMI and HDBaseT output supports independent scaling of 4K to 1080p, facilitating the integration of displays with different resolutions within a single system. Additionally, the device offers audio extraction to balanced analog outputs and coaxial outputs, enabling compatibility with professional sound systems and audio processors.
The ALF-MUH88E is also equipped with an IR matrix function, advanced EDID management, CEC support, and PoC 24V power for HDBaseT receivers. Control can be performed via buttons on the front panel, IR remote, RS-232 port, LAN network, and Web GUI interface. The built-in OLED display facilitates configuration and monitoring of the device's operation.
