Intusonic INTUWORX™ PAA42+ is an advanced preamplifier and multimedia mixer designed as a central module for professional sound systems. The device combines a six-channel stereo preamplifier, two microphone inputs, and an advanced multimedia player with USB support, FM/RDS tuner, LINKOUSTIC™ 5.0 wireless receiver, and DAB+ digital tuner. Its functional design and intuitive front panel make it ideal for fitness facilities, hotels, conference rooms, and anywhere flexible audio source management is essential.

The device offers three unbalanced stereo line inputs (RCA), one balanced FOH input with gain control, and a front panel with a 3.5mm TRS input for quick connection of portable devices. One of the sources can also be supplied from the optional VRE11 wall panel. Additionally, the rear panel provides a dedicated priority input for connecting notification signal players, announcements, or paging devices - with independent level control.

The PAA42+ features two balanced microphone inputs with gain control on the rear panel, switchable 12V phantom power, high-pass filters, and 2-band EQ and level controls on the front panel. Thanks to the advanced talkover function, the mixer automatically reduces the music level during speech, making it particularly useful in the fitness industry and during announcements.

The built-in multimedia player is equipped with a clear 128x64 LCD display and full support for USB file playback: access to folders, regular and random modes, elapsed and remaining time display, as well as file names and tags. The module also offers four notification signals with scheduled playback capability. The LINKOUSTIC™ 5.0 receiver provides wireless connectivity to mobile devices, and the included IR remote control facilitates remote operation. The PAA42+ version has been expanded with a DAB+ tuner, allowing reception of high-quality digital radio.

At the main output, the device offers a balanced signal with the option to operate in stereo or mono mode, maximum level control, and 2-band EQ, along with an eight-segment level indicator. The second, independent output path functions as a zone - with switchable source (Main/Line1/Line2), allowing for the creation of simple multi-zone systems. The PAA42+ also offers safety features: an emergency input that replaces the main signal and a Mute contact for immediate system silencing in integration with alarm installations.

The construction is complemented by an unbalanced Record output, an internal linear power supply with a wide voltage range, and a metal housing with detachable rack ears. Intusonic INTUWORX™ PAA42+ is an efficient, complete solution for managing audio sources in commercial installations and professional AV systems.
