The DSPPA DSP5040W is a white, 2-way wall-mounted speaker for public address and sound reinforcement systems, designed for both indoor and outdoor use. The ABS plastic housing has an IP66 protection rating, allowing the speaker to be installed in areas exposed to rain and dust. The 6.5" woofer with a graphite diaphragm and rubber suspension works in conjunction with a 1" silk dome tweeter. It delivers clear background music and intelligible announcements in the frequency range of 90Hz-20kHz (±3dB). The passive radiator OBE enhances low-frequency reproduction. The speaker operates on 100V and 70V lines with power selection via transformer taps, as well as in low-impedance mode at 8Ω with a power of 40W. Power is set using a switch on the rear panel, and the wires connect to a Euroblock terminal block. Both components are protected and concealed by a rear cover that integrates seamlessly with the passive radiator and modern housing line. Waterproof mounting brackets facilitate quick installation on the wall. The speaker performs well in schools, offices, hotels, train stations, and conference rooms.
