The DSPPA DSP170E is an active IP horn speaker for networked public address and intercom systems. It supports the standard SIP protocol, allowing it to receive messages and calls transmitted over LAN and WAN networks, and can operate in VoIP systems. Installation requires just one network cable, which carries both data and power when powered by PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at). The speaker can also be powered by an external 24V DC power supply. The built-in amplifier with a power of 15W and a 2.5" driver provide an efficiency of 102dB and a maximum SPL of 115dB, ensuring a high volume level required for announcements. The wide dispersion angle of the horn allows for sound coverage over a large area, and the speaker plays background music, emergency announcements, and alarm signals transmitted from the central unit. It supports audio files in formats such as MP3 and WAV. The 10/100Mb/s network port with auto-negotiation supports DHCP and static addressing. The ABS plastic construction is designed to work in all weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors. The included mounting bracket facilitates quick installation.
