WHD (Wilhelm Huber + Söhne) is a German audio equipment manufacturer based in Deißlingen. For more than 90 years, the company has been designing and building loudspeakers, audio electronics and complete sound systems for businesses and private customers. WHD employs over 40 specialists, has completed more than a thousand projects and holds ISO 9001:2015 quality certification.
The WHD range includes ceiling and wall installation loudspeakers, pendant, outdoor and horn loudspeakers, as well as solutions that stay out of sight: invisible in-plaster loudspeakers and loudspeakers for stretch ceilings. These are complemented by audio electronics: amplifiers, 100 V PA equipment, transformers, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi receivers, multiroom systems, KNX solutions and the VoiceBridge intercom system. Some devices are available in a wall-switch format, so they can be mounted in standard frames alongside sockets and switches.
WHD systems are used in hotels and restaurants, shops and pharmacies, medical practices and hospitals, offices, sports halls and production facilities. Extensive in-house manufacturing allows products to be adapted to a specific project, for example by painting loudspeakers to match the interior. The manufacturer's customers include Allianz Arena, Deutsche Telekom, Bosch, Siemens and AIDA Cruises.
