RTX-DUPLEX

Bettear RTX-DUPLEX - transmitter mode (TX) licence for RTX

Bettear RTX-DUPLEX is a licence that extends the capabilities of the Bettear RTX. Out of the box the RTX works as an Auracast™ receiver - once the DUPLEX licence is activated it also gains transmitter mode (TX). Switching between receiver and transmitter mode is set in the Hive Central platform, so one compact device can serve as the guide's, interpreter's or teacher's transmitter, or as a listener's receiver.

In TX mode the RTX shows a QR code on its screen, letting people with their own Auracast™-enabled devices (BYOD) join the broadcast in seconds. The licence can be activated at any time, directly on site and without replacing any hardware, so the capabilities of an entire device fleet can grow with the project.
