Barix IP Former TPA400 - Compact IP Speaker Amplifier with PoE
Barix IP Former TPA400 is a compact IP speaker amplifier with PoE, designed to convert any passive speaker (2 / 4 / 8 Ohm) into a full-featured network audio endpoint. Its form factor is compatible with standard 70/100V transformer mounts, allowing seamless retrofit into existing speaker infrastructure.
The device supports multiple IP audio standards and protocols including SIP, Dante® (optional license), InformaCast, Syn-Apps Revolution, and CyberGate (MS Teams integration). It decodes audio streams in AACplus, MP3, OPUS, PCM, G.711, G.722 formats over HTTP, RTP or UDP. Audio files can also be stored locally and triggered via simple UDP commands.
The built-in Class-D amplifier delivers up to 6.5W RMS at 4 Ohm, providing high-quality sound for paging, background music, and emergency notifications. Configuration is done via an intuitive web interface, making it an ideal choice for commercial and industrial AV installations.
