Barix Exstreamer P5 is a versatile Audio over IP codec from the Barix Exstreamer family, designed for a wide range of professional applications - from broadcast and retail to hotel audio distribution and SIP paging systems. Featuring a reliable, embedded low-power solid-state design, the device is ideal for continuous 24/7 operation without cooling or maintenance.

Equipped with a built-in 5W RMS mono amplifier, the Exstreamer P5 can drive an 8 Ohm speaker directly, eliminating the need for an external amplifier. It is powered via PoE (802.3af), simplifying installation and reducing wiring requirements.

Supporting key IP protocols such as HTTP, RTP, SIP, and Multicast, and decoding popular audio formats including AAC+ V2, MP3, PCM, Ogg Vorbis, and G.711, the Exstreamer P5 is suitable for broadcast, paging, in-store audio, and VoIP applications. The RS-485 interface and RJ-45 port enable integration with room controls such as Barix VSC.
