earisMAX transmitter - Bluetooth® and Auracast™ transmitter with HDMI ARC, optical, analogue and microphone inputs

The earisMAX transmitter sends audio from sources without Bluetooth - such as a TV, hi-fi system or computer - directly to Bluetooth-enabled headphones, hearing aids and cochlear implants. It offers three modes, selected with a button on the front panel: Bluetooth Classic and Bluetooth LE Audio (stereo) connect to a single receiver, while in Auracast™ mode the audio is broadcast to an unlimited number of receivers at the same time. Everyone in the household can watch TV with the sound adjusted to their own needs, and latency below 45 ms in Auracast™ mode keeps the sound in sync with the picture.

The transmitter provides all common audio connections: HDMI ARC for the TV, a Toslink optical input and an analogue input, plus a microphone input that picks up the sound of older TVs without audio outputs. Optical and analogue pass-through outputs let a soundbar or amplifier keep working alongside the transmitter. Power is supplied via USB-C, e.g. from the TV's USB port or a smartphone charger (power adapter not included). The selected Bluetooth mode is retained when the power is switched off.

A free PC tool (Windows) lets you protect the Auracast™ stream with a password, set the sampling rate (24 or 48 kHz) and update the firmware. The system is complemented by the earisMAX buds in-ear and earisMAX headphones over-ear headphones with Auracast™ support, and by the earisMAX streaming microphone.
