RDL RU-MLB4P - Dante Network Interface for Microphones and Line-Level Signals
The RDL RU-MLB4P is a four-channel bidirectional audio interface designed to convert microphone and line-level signals to Dante network channels and vice versa. It supports four mic or line inputs and four Dante outputs, ensuring full compatibility with professional AV systems in commercial and industrial installations.
Each input can be switched to mic or line mode. In mic mode, RU-MLB4P automatically sets gain: 40dB for condenser mics and 60dB for dynamic mics, with no manual adjustment required. P48 phantom power is provided on each mic input. In line mode, inputs accept unbalanced -10dBV and balanced +4dBu signals with over 18dB headroom.
RU-MLB4P also converts four Dante channels to +4dBu balanced line outputs, allowing direct connection to professional equipment without additional gain. Front-panel LEDs indicate signal presence and Dante network sync status. The metal enclosure supports rack, surface, or free-standing mounting.
Power is supplied via PoE or external 24Vdc supply. When both sources are connected, the unit automatically switches to PoE upon loss of external power.
