RDL RU-MLB2 - Dante Network Interface for Microphones and Line-Level Signals
The RDL RU-MLB2 is a bidirectional audio interface designed to convert microphone and line-level signals to Dante network channels and vice versa. It supports two mic or line inputs and two Dante outputs, ensuring full compatibility with professional AV systems.
Each input can be switched to mic or line mode. In mic mode, RU-MLB2 automatically sets gain: 40dB for condenser mics and 60dB for dynamic mics. P48 phantom power is provided on each mic input. In line mode, inputs accept unbalanced -10dBV and balanced +4dBu signals with over 18dB headroom. No user or installer gain adjustments are required thanks to automatic gain setting.
RU-MLB2 also converts two Dante channels to +4dBu balanced line outputs, allowing direct connection to professional equipment without additional gain. Front-panel LEDs indicate signal presence and Dante network sync status. The metal enclosure supports rack, surface, or free-standing mounting.
Power is supplied via external 24Vdc (RU-MLB2) or PoE (RU-MLB2P), with automatic switching between sources.
