RDL RU-NFDP - Dante to Format-A and AUX Interface with PoE Power
The RDL RU-NFDP is a Dante network interface that converts four Dante audio channels to RDL Format-A and one balanced AUX line output. Designed for professional AV installations, it provides reliable audio distribution to Format-A receivers with integrated PoE power.
Three Dante channels are assigned to Format-A output pairs A, B, and C, while the fourth Dante channel feeds a balanced +4dBu AUX output. Format-A is distributed to three separate RJ45 jacks, allowing multiple receivers to be connected in daisy-chain or home-run configurations. The primary RJ45 output powers Format-A receivers via PoE, eliminating the need for an external power supply.
RU-NFDP features 24-bit digital-to-analog conversion and RDL’s legendary analog filtering, ensuring excellent audio quality and low noise. LEDs indicate signal presence on each Dante channel and network sync status. Each RJ45 output is protected by an auto-resetting fuse with a dedicated power LED for fault diagnostics.
When both PoE and external 24Vdc power are connected, RU-NFDP automatically switches to external power for continuous operation. The metal enclosure supports rack, surface, or free-standing mounting.
