RDL HR-UDC1 - Universal Digital Audio Converter (AES/EBU, S/PDIF, AES-3ID)
The RDL HR-UDC1 is a professional-grade digital audio converter designed to bridge consumer and professional formats: AES/EBU, AES-3ID, and S/PDIF (optical and coaxial). It automatically detects a valid input from any of the four connectors and converts the signal to the selected output format.
HR-UDC1 decodes, reclocks, and retransmits the digital signal, preserving all relevant bits including sample rate, emphasis, and source type. Front-panel LEDs indicate input format, sample rate, and sync status. Output format is selected via a switch and delivered through the corresponding connector: XLR, RCA, BNC, or optical.
RDL’s Sure-Lok™ technology ensures automatic sync recovery, maintaining stable operation in demanding AV environments. AES/EBU input and output are transformer-isolated for enhanced reliability.
