RDL FP-DFC2 - Digital Audio Format Converter (24-bit / 192 kHz)

The RDL FP-DFC2 is a professional digital audio format converter designed to reliably convert S/PDIF or AES-3ID signals to AES/EBU format. It is ideal for AV environments requiring seamless interoperability between consumer and professional digital audio systems.

The module accepts S/PDIF inputs via RCA, BNC, or optical TOSLINK, and AES-3ID signals via BNC. The AES/EBU output is provided on a transformer-isolated XLR connector, ensuring noise immunity and compliance with professional standards.

The FP-DFC2 automatically detects input sample rates up to 192 kHz at 24-bit resolution. A front-panel LED indicates when a valid digital signal is locked. The exclusive Sure-Lok™ circuitry continuously monitors for signal loss or latch-up conditions and automatically restores synchronization, ensuring stable operation in demanding environments.

Its compact FLAT-PAK housing allows for flexible mounting on shelves, racks, or flat surfaces. Power connections support daisy-chaining multiple modules from a single power supply.
