The RDL DS-HPA3 is a compact, professional-grade wall-mounted amplifier designed for AV installations requiring both speaker and headphone outputs. It is ideal for conference rooms, kiosks, information points, and any application where local audio amplification with private listening is needed.
The unit features a single balanced line-level input (also compatible with unbalanced sources) and two outputs: a speaker output on the rear panel and a front-panel mini-jack headphone output. The high-efficiency Class D amplifier delivers 3.5 W RMS into 8 ohms or 6.5 W RMS into 4 ohms, with minimal heat generation.
A single front-panel volume control adjusts the level for both outputs. Two recessed switches (accessible before installation) allow configuration of input sensitivity and selection of automatic speaker muting when headphones are connected. This enables seamless switching between speaker and headphone listening modes.
The front panel includes no illuminated indicators, making the D-HPA3 suitable for dark environments. Power is supplied via a 24 V DC ground-referenced source.
