RDL D-TPR1A is a single-pair audio receiver module from Radio Design Labs, compatible with RDL Format-A devices for twisted pair signal transmission. The module is designed for installation in wall boxes, racks, and other enclosures where users connect external devices - in RDL WB-1U and WB-2U boxes and standard American electrical boxes. The white front panel with gray labels matches RDL Decora-style controllers. The audio signal received from the selected pair (A, B, or C) of twisted pair cable goes to the balanced XLR output, which can be set to microphone or line level using a switch. The second RJ45 socket allows connecting additional Format-A receivers, and bridging inputs enable connecting up to 10 receiver outputs on each pair of cable, providing great flexibility in designing audio distribution systems. The module can be powered locally with 24V DC or remotely via twisted pair cable, and precise, active studio-grade balanced circuits ensure high sound quality, low noise, low distortion, and effective hum elimination.
