Niveo Professional NGSE8H is an 8-port Gigabit Ethernet switch 10/100/1000Mbps with PoE+ power compliant with IEEE 802.3at. Each port delivers up to 30W, and the total PoE power budget is 130W. This switch powers access points, IP cameras, and other network devices directly through a standard Cat.5/Cat.5e cable, without separate power supplies and electrical outlets at the installation site. The compact 11" housing with rack mounts included fits into installation cabinets, and the switch is suitable for medium and large workgroups as well as AV and monitoring installations.
The switch operates in Store-and-Forward mode without blocking (non-blocking and non-head-of-line blocking) and provides full link speed on all ports - up to 2000Mbps per port in full duplex mode. Jumbo frame support of 9.6K accelerates the transfer of large files, and broadcast storm filtering protects the network from excessive traffic. Auto-MDI/MDI-X and Auto-Negotiation features automatically detect the cable type and speed and mode of the connected device, so there is no need to use crossover cables. The switch operates in plug and play mode, without configuration.
