Niveo Professional NGSE8H-AV is an 8-port Gigabit Ethernet switch 10/100/1000Mbps with PoE+ power compliant with IEEE 802.3at, featuring ports routed to the back of the housing. Each port delivers up to 30W, allowing the switch to power access points, IP cameras, and other network devices directly through a standard Cat.5/Cat.5e cable, without separate power supplies and electrical outlets. The compact 11" housing with rack mounts included fits into installation cabinets, and the rear ports facilitate neat cabling in AV installations.
The switch operates in a Store-and-Forward mode without blocking (non-blocking) and provides full link speed on all ports - up to 2000Mbps per port in full duplex mode. Support for Jumbo frames 9.6K accelerates the transfer of large files. Auto-MDI/MDI-X and Auto-Negotiation features automatically detect the cable type and speed and mode of the connected device, so there is no need for crossover cables. This is a simple and efficient solution for expanding Gigabit networks in medium and large installations.
