The MuxLab 500009 is a compact CCTV video balun designed to transmit a single composite video signal over a single unshielded twisted pair (UTP) Cat5e/6 cable. Featuring screw terminals, it allows for quick and secure wire connections without the need for modular jacks. Used in pairs, it eliminates the need for bulky coaxial cable, simplifying installation and reducing costs.
The balun can be used with MuxLab’s CCTV-Audio/Video Hub for distributing video signals to multiple monitors. Its weather-resistant housing, polarity identification label, and cable strain relief make it suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations.
