The Josawa ALFW-550P-B is a set of 2 x 50W stereo active speakers for surface mounting. It is suitable for meeting rooms, conference halls, classrooms, hotels, and restaurants, as well as for commercial installations in small and medium-sized spaces. The set consists of a pair of speakers: an active (Master) speaker with a built-in amplifier and a passive (Slave) speaker that connects to the Phoenix 2-pin speaker output. Despite its compact dimensions, the set offers very good sound quality. Each speaker has a 2-way design with a 5.25" woofer and a 1" tweeter, providing full bass, detailed mids, and clear highs in both speech and music.
Multiple inputs facilitate the connection of various audio sources. Available inputs include: balanced input, RCA, 3.5mm mini jack, optical input, USB playback, and wireless Bluetooth. The Loop output passes the signal to additional active devices, while the Sub output allows for system expansion with a subwoofer. The Bluetooth TWS function pairs two main speakers into a stereo pair as left and right channels. The frequency response is 60Hz-20kHz (-10dB) and 70Hz-20kHz (-3dB), with a sensitivity of 87dB (1W/1m) and a maximum SPL of 104dB at a distance of 1m. The nominal coverage angle is 90° horizontally and 60° vertically (-6dB), providing even sound distribution in the room. After 5 minutes without a signal, the set automatically enters standby mode with a maximum power consumption of 0.5W. The set includes a remote control that also allows locking the USB or Bluetooth mode. This is useful in installations where users are to use only selected sources. The mounting bracket is suitable for wall and ceiling installation, and the included base allows the speakers to be placed on a desk.
