Sound where the listener stands, and silence all around. The Winpoint WP-1010A directional speaker focuses sound in a selected area instead of filling the entire room. In a museum, the commentary for the exhibit is heard by the person standing in front of it, while adjacent exhibition zones remain silent. In a point of sale or at a digital signage screen, the advertising message reaches the customer who has stopped at the booth, without drowning out the rest of the store. This solution is for AV integrators and exhibition designers who want to enrich the space with sound without noise and without headphones.

The WP-1010A operates as a standalone sound source. It plays MP3 and WAV files directly from a USB memory stick, and it also receives signals via Bluetooth 4.2 or a 3.5mm AUX input. The range reaches up to 25m, and the efficiency is 79dB (1kHz/1m). The compact housing measures 100x100x30mm and weighs 220g, consuming a maximum of 4W and powered via a USB-C connection. This makes it easy to hide in the exhibition arrangement or mount next to a monitor.
