Barix Annuncicom 155 is a rugged industrial-grade Audio over IP device purpose-built for critical communication in harsh environments. Fully EN50155-certified and IP65-rated, it serves as a reliable intercom, paging unit, IP audio encoder, or SOS help point for transportation, industry, and public infrastructure.
Equipped with a 5W RMS audio amplifier (8Ω), microphone input, line output, two contact closure inputs, and RS-485 interface, the Annuncicom 155 is ideal for public address systems, emergency communication, and IP-based surveillance. Dual Ethernet ports allow daisy-chaining in ring or line topologies for efficient network design.
The device supports MP3, PCM, and G.711 audio formats with flexible sample rates (8-48kHz), and integrates easily with VoIP and paging systems using standard protocols such as SIP, HTTP, RTP, and Multicast. It can receive background music streams with interrupt-based priority announcements or operate as a standalone SIP-based communication panel.
