The Soft dB SMS-HDN is an innovative sound masking speaker designed as an alternative to traditional flush-mount ceiling speakers. Installed behind suspended ceiling tiles or gypsum board panels, it transforms ceiling surfaces into large, high-dispersion loudspeakers that deliver a smooth, diffuse, and clear sound field ideal for sound masking applications.

Hidden within the plenum, the SMS-HDN preserves ceiling aesthetics while solving the issue of sound leakage between adjacent rooms. It’s especially effective in closed offices and hard ceiling environments such as gypsum or wood, where surface-mounted speakers may create acoustic hot spots.

The SMS-HDN ensures uniform sound masking, clear paging, and background music without compromising visual design.
