Wireless conference system - an essential solution for every conference centre

The conference system helps organize meetings by controlling how speaking time is granted to participants. It is useful for both small meetings and larger conferences.

The WDC‑903 is a wireless discussion system solution from Relacart.

The system consists of:

• a central unit responsible for system control and communication,
• microphone units,
• antennas,
• a power amplifier,
• speakers.

The system can also be expanded with a video tracking unit and an audio recording device.

Microphone units are available in two versions:

• Delegate unit -equipped with a button that allows the user to activate the microphone or signal the request to speak, depending on the selected system mode,
• Chairman unit - with the ability to grant speaking rights to delegates and a priority button that mutes other active microphones.

Up to 5 microphones may be active at the same time, and the central unit can support up to 150 microphone units, including 2 chairman units. The units are powered by 2900 mA lithium batteries, providing up to 24 hours of continuous operation.

The system supports four operating modes:

• Timed mode,
• FIFO mode - when the number of users wanting to speak exceeds the maximum number of active microphones, the system turns off the microphone of the person who has been speaking the longest,
• Request‑to‑speak mode - delegates signal their intention to speak using the button, and the chairman grants the floor,
• Voice activation mode - the microphone activates automatically when the delegate starts speaking.

The audio signal is fed into the power amplifier input and then distributed to the speakers installed in the room.
