Description
The conference system enables structured meetings by managing the floor for participants. This solution is suitable for both small meetings and larger conferences.
The WDC-903 is Relacart's wireless discussion system.
The system consists of:
- a central unit responsible for control and connectivity (WDC-903M)
- microphone units (WDC-903C / WDC-903D)
- antennas (R-43W, R-22AU, DC-903)
- a power amplifier (MP250UB)
- loudspeakers (DSP5040)
The system can also be expanded with an image tracking unit and an audio recording device.
Microphone units are available in two versions:
- Delegate unit - features a button that, depending on the system mode, allows the user to activate the microphone or signal a request to speak
- Chairman unit - includes the ability to grant the floor to delegates and a priority button to mute other active microphones
Up to 5 microphones can be active simultaneously, and up to 150 microphone units can be connected to the central unit, including 2 chairman units. The units are powered by 2900 mA lithium batteries, providing up to 24 hours of continuous operation.
The system can operate in one of four modes:
- Time-limited mode
- FIFO mode - when the number of people wishing to speak exceeds the maximum active microphones, the microphone of the longest-speaking participant is switched off
- Request mode - delegates signal their wish to speak via a button on their console, and the chairman grants the floor
- Voice-activation mode - the microphone activates automatically when a delegate begins speaking
The audio signal is sent to the input of a power amplifier and then distributed to speakers placed throughout the room.
