Description

Dante Conference System with Room Automation for Public Administration Facilities

A dedicated conference system based on IP network and Dante protocol, designed for meeting rooms, session halls, conference rooms, and deliberation rooms in public and local government administration facilities. The solution ensures high sound quality, system scalability, and room automation, reducing the need for constant technical support.

The proposed system allows flexible scaling of the number of microphone desks depending on the number of meeting participants. The system ensures comfortable conduct of meetings, working sessions, and conferences, and if needed, allows for simultaneous translations in up to three languages, which is essential during international meetings and official visits.

Microphone desks RDL TP-BN14 are equipped with built-in speakers and allow each participant to individually select the listening signal. Built-in headphone amplifiers enable the connection of personal headphones, improving work comfort in large rooms and in environments with elevated noise levels.

The use of IP network communication and the universal Dante protocol eliminates the need for dedicated audio cabling. All signal transmission occurs over a standard IP network, facilitating installation, modernization, and expansion of the system. The solution allows routing of any audio signals or their mixes to recording devices, streaming computers, additional sound zones, or press boxes (RDL AV-NL4) for media representatives.

The central element of the system is the processor/matrix HARVEY, combining professional audio processing functions with room automation. The matrix allows connecting analog and digital audio sources, presenting audio content from user devices, and full automation of meeting parameters. It is available in various configurations of analog inputs and outputs (typically 8x8) along with a 64x64 Dante module.

In the case of extensive installations, several HARVEY matrices can be connected in a Hypermatrix system and managed from a single software interface. The system allows creating intuitive interfaces based on local web pages, enabling end users to control the system from computers or mobile devices without the need for specialized technical knowledge.

The HARVEY matrix allows integration and control of external devices such as blinds and lighting in DALI standard. Supported bidirectional communication protocols include RS‑232, RS‑485, RS‑422, DMX, TCP/IP, and UDP, allowing for seamless integration of the audio system with building automation and the technical infrastructure of the facility.

The wall controller RC4 allows quick selection of predefined room operation presets, such as meeting, conference, broadcast, or break, without the need for technical staff presence. The controllers FNIP‑4xSH and OptiLite with DALI‑2 module operating in IP network provide control over additional room equipment elements.

The system can be easily expanded with automated recording and video streaming of meetings, as well as control over video signal switching using HDMI matrices or AV over IP systems.
