RDL TX-8i – Headphone Isolation Transformer

The RDL TX-8i is a passive audio transformer designed for professional AV applications, providing galvanic isolation between headphones and source equipment. It protects the source from overload and interference while delivering clean audio to headphones in commercial, educational, and broadcast systems.

TX-8i supports headphones with impedance of 8 Ω or greater, offering a frequency response of 100 Hz to 15 kHz with low distortion (THD+N < 0.1% at 50 mW). An overload LED flashes when the operating level is exceeded, ensuring safe operation. The unit meets HI-POT isolation standards of 1.5 kVAC, providing high electrical safety.

Its compact design and detachable terminal block connectors make it easy to integrate into installation environments.
