RDL RU2-CS1 - RS-232 Serial Controlled Interface for AV Module Control
The RDL RU2-CS1 is a professional RS-232 controlled interface designed for remote control of RDL modules and OEM devices in AV installations. It provides control of eight open-collector outputs and eight independent 0–10 VDC outputs, enabling precise management of audio attenuators and other system components.
The unit includes eight status inputs for monitoring external switches or transistor closures. Communication with a computer is established via RS-232, with commands issued from a terminal program or user software.
RU2-CS1 supports ramping of output levels with individually or globally adjustable ramp rates. Outputs can also be set directly to a new level without ramping. Pulse commands generate 100 ms pulses on selected outputs, and completion of ramping can be reported.
Status input monitoring allows alerts to be triggered on state changes or specific input patterns. Front-panel LEDs indicate active outputs, status inputs, data transmission, errors, and power.
