RDL RU-NFD - Dante to Format-A and AUX Interface
The RDL RU-NFD is a Dante network interface that converts four Dante audio channels to RDL Format-A and one balanced AUX line output. Designed for professional AV installations, it provides fast and reliable network integration with Format-A receivers.
Three Dante channels are assigned to Format-A output pairs A, B, and C, while the fourth Dante channel feeds a balanced +4dBu AUX output. Format-A is distributed to three separate RJ45 jacks, allowing multiple receivers to be connected in daisy-chain or home-run configurations. Each output jack can power Format-A receivers, and an external 24Vdc supply powers all three outputs.
RU-NFD features 24-bit digital-to-analog conversion and RDL’s legendary analog filtering, ensuring excellent audio quality and low noise. LEDs indicate signal presence on each Dante channel and network sync status. The metal enclosure supports rack, surface, or free-standing mounting.
The RU-NFDP version supports PoE, powering the unit and Format-A receivers connected to the primary RJ45 output. When both PoE and external 24Vdc are connected, the unit automatically switches to external power.
