Description
RDL RU-FNP - Format-A to Network Interface
RDL RU-FNP is a professional audio interface that converts three Format-A audio pairs (A, B, C) and one AUX input (balanced or unbalanced) into four Dante network audio channels. It enables seamless integration of Format-A systems into Dante infrastructure, delivering high-quality audio performance and reliability in commercial and industrial AV installations.
The AUX input features front-panel gain adjustment and a dual-LED VU meter for precise signal control. Signal LEDs indicate audio presence on each Format-A pair. Format-A connections are made via RJ45 using CATx cable, and the input jack provides up to 200mA of power to connected Format-A senders. RU-FNP supports PoE (IEEE 802.3af) or external 24V DC power, with automatic switching between sources.
RU-FNP offers 24-bit analog-to-digital conversion and RDL’s legendary analog filtering for superior fidelity and low noise. Its rugged metal enclosure supports surface or rack mounting. RU-FNP is compatible with a wide range of active and passive Format-A senders, making it a versatile solution for professional AV systems.
