RDL EZ-MCP1 - Microphone Compressor

The RDL EZ-MCP1 is a compact in-line microphone compressor designed for use between a dynamic or condenser microphone and a mic-level mixer or amplifier input. It automatically adjusts audio levels, compensating for variations up to 30 dB, improving speech intelligibility and overall sound quality.

The EZ-MCP1 prevents distortion and clipping caused by signal overloads. Setup is simple, using a front-panel level trimmer with an LED indicator. A rear-panel output level trimmer is also provided but typically remains at its default setting. Phantom voltage (24V) is automatically switched on when connected to a mic input that provides phantom power.
