RDL DB-TPS1A – Active Format-A Audio Sender with XLR Microphone Input and Phantom Power

The RDL DB-TPS1A is an active audio sending module designed for professional AV installations, compatible with RDL’s Format-A twisted pair system. It features a balanced XLR microphone input with 24 V phantom power, supporting both dynamic and condenser microphones. Its compact design allows for wall box mounting, making it ideal for conference rooms, educational environments, and commercial AV systems.

The rear-panel switches allow the installer to select the microphone gain (normal or high) and assign the output to one of the three Format-A pairs (A, B, or C). Dual RJ45 jacks enable daisy-chaining with other Format-A senders, enhancing system flexibility.

The module can be powered locally or remotely via the twisted pair cable. An integrated auto-resetting fuse protects the system, and a front-panel LED indicates power status. Studio-quality active balanced circuitry ensures low noise, low distortion, and excellent hum rejection.
