Description

MuxLab 500551 - Dante 2-Channel Analog Audio Encoder

The MuxLab 500551 is a professional audio interface that enables non-Dante analog audio equipment to connect with Dante-compatible systems. It converts two channels of balanced or unbalanced analog audio into Dante digital signals, transmitting full-range audio (20Hz-20kHz) over IP networks.

The unit supports sampling rates of 44.1kHz, 48kHz, and 96kHz at 24-bit resolution. Each input offers three selectable gain levels: +18dBu, 0dBu (default), and -10dBV, allowing precise adjustment for various audio sources. Power can be supplied via PoE (IEEE 802.3af Class 0) or locally using a 12V DC power supply.

The encoder also supports AES67 RTP audio transport for enhanced interoperability with other networked audio systems. Its compact design makes it easy to install and transport, and plug & play operation eliminates the need for additional software.
